Last week was an Action Packed Week of Fun Activities at Lexis Noosa!
For our students, it’s important to unwind during a week of English learning and our activity programme is the best way to do so. Every week, we do activities together on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday to showcase the best of what life in Noosa is like. Our activities range from arts and crafts to watersports and from karaoke to yoga, with a whole load of Aussie culture thrown in there too. Here’s a glimpse of what activities we got up to last week:
Wednesday’s Activity – Halloween Decorating!
This Halloween was one to remember! Our school was buzzing with excitement as everyone joined in to make spooky decorations. We crafted paper bats, creepy spiders, and ghostly garlands to hang around the classrooms. The hallways turned into haunted hallways — full of cobwebs, pumpkins, and plenty of Halloween spirit. We made sure to decorate in full force ahead of Friday’s Halloween party and the school looked awesome once we were finished!
Thursday’s Activity – Noosa National Park Walk!
With the sun shining on Thursday afternoon, we made the short trip over to Hastings Street to begin our Noosa National Park walk. It was a peaceful afternoon well spent walking through the Noosa National Park. The views were stunning and the sound of the waves crashing below and the fresh ocean breeze were the perfect way to break up a busy week, get our steps in and keep practicing our English outside of the classroom. We were even lucky enough to spot a couple of turtles bobbing around Hells Gates!
We all went home for a well earned rest, ensuring we got some sleep ahead of a big Halloween party the next day!
Friday’s Activity — Halloween Party!
Friday was finally here and with it came the highlight — our Halloween party! Everyone showed up in creative costumes, and got into the spirit of the day. We played games, shared pizza and drinks, and then made the short trip round the corner to the cocktail night at The Culinary Academy! It was the perfect mix of spooky and fun — a Halloween filled with creativity, laughter, and a little bit of Noosa magic. ✨
