Lawn Bowling Green Assistant – Casual Greenkeeper/Groundsman, Club Kawana

20-30 Hours per Week (Includes some Weekend Work)

Position involves:

  • Maintenance of: 2 Bowling Greens, Lawns & Gardens

About the business and the role

The Bella Venezia Restaurant has been trading for over 40 years and is indeed a Sunshine Coast Institution

We are a busy Multi Award Winning Modern Italian Restaurant positioned in the Heart of Mooloolaba on the Sunshine Coast.

Job tasks and responsibilities

As a valued and important member of the FOH team you will be responsible for setting up the restaurant ready for lunch trade and if you are after additional hours, we have some food running shifts available.

Training on how to set the restaurant up will be provided over a duration of work with shifts then the position will be a solo role.

Restaurant Set up shifts 8:00 am till 12:00 pm (4 hours shifts) x multiple shifts each week

Food running shifts 6:00 pm starts (2- 3.5 hours shifts)

Skills and experience

  • Heavy lifting of furniture will be required
  • you will need to be fit and healthy as lifting furniture and equipment solo is required.
  • the ability to work solo is a must with set up as this is a one person job function
  • you will also be required to answer basic questions from customers during the restaurant set up process so your English needs to be at a high standard.
  • Food running requirements are the ability to carry 3 plates comfortably is a must.
  • the ability to learn our menu and to be able to recite every dish at the table will also be required for this role also.

All about you:
