Today we are celebrating our amazing graduates and course finishers at Lexis Manly.
The IELTS class had a private graduation by the beach, since the small class is saying goodbye to two of their graduates today. Our IELTS students already have a high level of English and are working on their academic English or prepare for the IELTS exam. The IELTS class is usually one of the most ambitious ones, filled with students who have high goals for their future education or career.
Michael is no exception, even though he is only 17 years old, he already has big dreams of becoming an engineer. His unmatched drive to improve and learn in order to achieve this goal impressed us all. He was only with us for 4 weeks since he is still in high school back in Switzerland, where he will have to complete his final year after his stay with the Lexis Manly family. Teacher Sam sums up having Michael in class by saying “not only did I get the opportunity to teach this highly intelligent student but also got the chance to learn from him”. Thank you Michael for letting us be part of your journey. All the best for your bright future!
Nora made the most of her 6 weeks at Lexis, she discovered the area, learned to surf and used every day to the fullest. No wonder she was always full of good stories and spread her joy and positivity across our campus. She will not only be missed by her classmates but also her teacher, who adored having her in class. Given her curious and outgoing personality, she of course is not done exploring just yet – along with her best friend, she will travel the Australian east coast next, discover beautiful Fiji and make a stop in LA, before returning home to Switzerland. Enjoy your travels and stay curios!
