Today we are celebrating our 13 amazing graduates and course finishers at Lexis Manly.
Today we had to say goodbye to 13 of our lovely students, most of them were with us for over 20 weeks – making it especially hard to see them leave.
All the new friends, class mates and teachers made sure all graduates had a last fun afternoon at Lexis and get to be celebrated for their hard work and incredible progress. All students have settled in so quickly that we barely remember them not being around.
We got a chance to get to know everyone better at our afternoon activities and excursions and admire their drive to learn a new language or improving certain English skills, while making the most of their time overseas. Thank you for being part of the Lexis Manly family, we hope to see you again one day and wish you all the best for your future plans!
After 6 month’s at Lexis Manly, it would have been tough to see Semih leave. But lucky for us, he has already decided to study with us again in November. When he first started his time at Lexis Manly, he barely had any English skills, he started off in a beginner class. His hard work soon paid off and he is now graduating from pre-intermediate. We are excited find out what achievements you will be making in your second enrolment in November!
Virinya (left) feels like the 25 weeks at Lexis flew by. Every week was different, new classmates, fun activities and so much to discover along the northern beaches that she feels the time just wasn’t long enough. In fact she doesn’t want to leave Sydney just yet and made a big decision to stay in Australia for another 2 years. You will certainly be missed, but it’s great knowing you are still around and will come by from time to time.
Mustafa (middle) is graduating from Lexis today, but will stay part of the family. He has improved his english so much over the past 4.5 month that he is ready to take the next step in his eductaion now. He has signed up for a VET course with Lexis Training, which means we still get to see him around campus. We are excited that we don’t have to say goodbye just now and want to thank you for the fun and joy you brought to our classrooms. All the best for your marketing degree!
Yuko (right) took a week off from work to join Lexis Manly. Even though the time was short, she has made sure to make the most of it. Meeting other students, studying hard and joining our activities. We are impressed with you ambition and are excited to hear that you are already planning to come back – hopefully for a few more weeks next time.
Yuji was great to have around and we are sad to see him leave after 24 weeks. He worked hard to imporve his English, his progress from elementary to intermediate was amazing to support and we adore the dedication Yuji put into his studies. We wish you all the best for your university degree back in Japan and hope you made amazing memories with your new friends!
