Welcome to Lexis Brisbane!
On Monday we welcomed 10 English students to our beautiful Brisbane campus.
We welcomed 5 new students from Japan, Risa, Koto, Sae, Reikichi, and Asami. Minjae joined us from South Korea, Raul from Spain, Olga from Colombia, and both Ulysse and Maxime from Switzerland. It was a pleasure to welcome this lovely bunch to our Lexis family and we can’t wait to see them flourish!
There are plenty of fun and studious things to get involved with here at school and in Brisbane! On Mondays at 1:15pm, we host our Coffee and Conversation Club where students gather in our student lounge and enjoy some coffee and food. The aim is to get everyone talking to one another, making new friends, and practising their speaking skills along the way. It was so lovely to have some of this week’s new students join in on Monday afternoon so we could get to know them! Reikichi and Asami both transferred to Brisbane from some of our other Lexis campuses and told us about their journeys so far.
Here at Lexis Brisbane, we organise activities every week for our students to enjoy on and off campus. From visiting the arcade, to yoga, to cocktail making, to koala cuddling, we offer everyone the opportunity to join in and make new friends. The fundament of our school isn’t academic success alone, its about fostering a strong sense of community. These activities and social experiences create this feeling of family and belonging. That’s what we are all about here at Lexis Brisbane.
