A Photography Workshop Led by Hyejeong Min – 31st July
Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting a photography workshop with one of our students, Hyejeong Min from South Korea. From her very first day in class, she shared her love for photography, telling us it was one of her favourite hobbies. Although she doesn’t work as a professional photographer, Hyejeong is always eager to learn new techniques to improve her skills.
We thought it would be a fantastic idea to invite her to lead a workshop for her fellow students. After all, when you’re living and experiencing life in a new country like our students are, it’s always great to enhance those photography skills. Not only do they help capture the special moments shared here, but they also make for some top-notch content to send back to friends and family, and of course, for filling up Instagram with some seriously Insta-worthy shots.
During the workshop, Hyejeong showed us how to use some simple tools right on our phones to boost the quality of our photos. For her, it was an amazing experience to conduct the workshop in English, and for the rest of the students, it was incredibly useful to learn about these handy features that, as it turns out, are literally at our fingertips but often go unnoticed.
It was a great session all around, with everyone walking away with a little more confidence in their photography abilities and a new appreciation for the technology we carry in our pockets every day. Thanks to Hyejeong for sharing her passion and knowledge with us!
