Teach surf lessons, take bookings, organize lessons and manage the day to day running of Let’s Go Surfing Byron bay.   

Surfboard you ride and why:

5’4 Hayden Lewis twin fin. Twin fins have great flow down the line and get a little loose during turns, which I love.

Wetsuit you wear and why:

O’neill Fuze 2mm short sleeve, long legs. The techno butter has great flexibility and the short arm make for less resistant when paddling.

Best tip for beginner surfers:

Your first board should be above 7ft  . You will catch more waves, stand up more often and progress quicker. Too many beginners buy short boards and can’t ride them.

Who has been the biggest influence in your life:

My Girlfriend. She is a legend and has a really positive outlook on life.

What kinds of things really make you laugh:

Kevin Hart, the man is hilarious.

What’s your favorite place in the entire world:

Byron Bay, it’s beautiful and has amazing waves. What more can you ask for.

What’s your biggest goal in life right now:

Buy a house in or around the Byron area .

If you could choose one superpower, what would it be and why:

Being able to fly. Imagine the adventures!

5’6 diamond tail on a small day, 5’11 on the big days! Short boards only for me , long boards are too slow!

Wetsuit you wear and why:

Winter, 3’2mil steamer o’neill psycho.Spring/Autumn spring suit, summer tails swimwear.

Best tip for beginner surfers:

Sri lanka, easy waves , awesome culture , cheap.

Who has been the biggest influence in your life:

Mum of course, the biggest legend on the planet!

What kinds of things really make you laugh:

Whenever Blake wipes out!

What’s your favorite place in the entire world:

Home, Cornwall … the waves, the cornish pasties, the cider and mum.

What’s your biggest goal in life right now:

To start my swimwear company …Tails swimwear.

Teleportation , so I can travel and surf all around the world …forever!

I teach surfing and manage programs for the community.

5’4″ carbon fibre bat wing, not sure why, I think the board chose me, Hee hee.

Wetsuit you wear and why:

I prefer C Skins, great fit, very warm and comfortable materials.

Best tip for beginner surfers:

‘Big Board Small Waves’ too many time we see beginners do the opposite, surfing is an art and takes time and practice to become competent and safe in the ocean.

Who has been the biggest influence in your life:

My life partner, Matt, he has a great outlook on life and supports me in my passion for teaching surfing.

What kinds of things really make you laugh:

Happy people, the iconic characters of my town, Byron Bay, from clowns to a man twirling a hoop shaking pineapples singing, we get all sorts and I think they are amazing.

What’s your favorite place in the entire world:

Home in Byron Bay with my husband and our two kids. We do live in a beautiful part of the world.

What’s your biggest goal in life right now:

My goal is to focus on Women’s surfing, Ability Surfing and introduce surfing to Cultural Groups and of course be grateful to be able to do this.

If you could choose one superpower, what would it be and why:

Amazing arms so I can paddle through the waves quick and catch more waves.

How would you describe yourself in three words:

Fun, caring,  happy.
