A Colorful Blend of Creativity and Fun: Students Sip ‘N’ Paint Experience at Lexis English Noosa!
In our busy lives filled with deadlines and responsibilities, it’s important to take a step back and indulge in activities that nourish our souls. Sip and Paint has become a beloved activity among Lexis students. During yesterday’s sip-and-paint session, we opted for a simple yet exquisite painting featuring a tree silhouette set against a breathtaking sunset backdrop. Our artistic journey began with the blending of vibrant colors, including shades of purple, red, orange, mustard, and yellow, meticulously creating the picturesque sunset from the top to the bottom of our canvases. Then, we painted the lower portion of the canvas to form the ground, using a ‘fan’-shaped paintbrush to delicately render the grass. With this foundation in place, the students then proceeded to paint the setting sun, nestled behind the hills, and concluded their masterpieces by adding the striking tree silhouette.
The “sip” component of the sip-and-paint experience played an equally vital role. Lexis Noosa provided a selection of delectable wines, affording students the opportunity to unwind and enjoy their beverages while fully immersing themselves in the art-making process. The calming effect of savoring these drinks while engaged in artistic endeavors served as a delightful relief from the stress of English learning.
