Farewell, Friends: Celebrating This Month’s Graduates at Lexis Brisbane
At Lexis English Brisbane, we take great pride in recognising the accomplishments and personal journeys of our students as they complete their studies and step confidently into the next chapter of their lives. This month, we say a warm and heartfelt goodbye to a wonderful group of graduates whose dedication, progress, and future ambitions continue to inspire our whole community. Join us as we celebrate their achievements and reflect on the remarkable paths they’ve taken.
We said goodbye to one of our amazing teachers, Nikki. She had been at Lexis Brisbane for 3 years and will be incredibly missed! Her Upper Intermediate class wanted to do something special and got her flowers.
14th November
Fiona has been with us for 10 weeks and has made many friends. She is going to spend her last few weeks studying at Lexis Sydney Manly. After that, she will travel around Australia with friends in a camper, exploring the wonderful beaches and cities Australia has to offer.
Ester has studied with us for 8 weeks, and her confidence in speaking English and making friends has blossomed. Although she is leaving Lexis English, she has decided to stay in Brisbane and look for a job. She wants to work in either a cafe or a restaurant. Ester misses us so much that she still likes to meet us out at our afternoon activities! Good luck, Ester !!
Grace’s time here at Lexis was short but memorable! She was only studying with us for 6 weeks, but during those 6 weeks. She was a phenomenal student – always participating and attentive in her lessons. Her time in Australia has come to an end, but her education continues. She will be jetting off to Singapore to continue studying English and further her education. Thank you, Grace. All the best.
Lots of tears were shed by their pairs when Catarina and Max graduated!
Caterina was here with us for 8 weeks, making so many friends from all over the world! And now that she has finished her studies, she will return to Italy and go back to finish school.
Max has studied at Lexis for 12 weeks, and we have seen him grow into a confident, funny guy who is loved by many people at Lexis. He has decided to stay in Brisbane and look for a job. Max has since visited the campus many times to see everyone and say hi.
Hui-Ran has completed 8 weeks of General English with us. She has attended most activities and come out of her comfort zone more and more each day! She is jumping on a flight after class today to spend some time in Sydney, where she will visit the Opera House and continue practising her English.
21tst November
Kyoung came to Australia with her whole family to explore and experience Australian culture. She spent 1 week with us to gain confidence and better her English skills to carry on her travels. Although her time was short. She had the best time at Lexis Brisbane and enjoyed her lessons in Hana’s class. She and her husband will be sending their kids back to South Korea so that they can continue travelling to different cities in Australia together.
Yi-Chin has studied with us for 5 weeks and will now go and find a job in Brisbane!
Jo facetimed in for his graduation as he started his travels a little bit early! He spent 28 weeks with us here, starting his course in Pre-Intermediate and finishing in Upper-Intermediate! He will be travelling around Australia until he goes back home to Japan.
Zakariae has been a student at Lexis Brisbane for 50 weeks, starting at Pre-Intermediate all the way to Upper Intermediate!! He has been a light on this Campus and will be deeply missed. His passion is cooking and baking! He will be continuing his studies at Chef school here in Brisbane, where he then aspires to open a Moroccan restaurant! He made everyone at Lexis a cake as a parting gift! He made this cake all by himself and recreated the Lexis English Logo out of Fondue! His friends that he has made in Brisbane will miss him dearly, and so will lots of the teachers. We cannot wait to come to your restaurant, Zak! Best of Luck.

Karen has been studying with us at Lexis Brisbane since March 2025. After 37 weeks of working hard to improve her English, she is going back to Colombia to finish university.
Juan has been studying with us for 24 weeks. He is also going back to Columbia with Karen to finish his university studies!
Inae is on a working holiday visa and chose to study at Lexis for 14 weeks so she can better her English skills and find a job in Brisbane.
Joel came to Brisbane to start his 9-week Cambridge Preparation and has used his time really pushing himself to learn as much as he can! His teachers admire Joel’s enthusiasm, sense of humour and work ethic. He has made many friends during his time at Lexis, and they are all so sad to see him graduate. He will be jetting off to Sydney, then to Melbourne, to explore different cities that Australia has to offer before returning to Switzerland to become a nurse!
Our Cambridge students have worked incredibly hard these past 12 weeks – They set themselves a goal and smashed it out of the park! We are so proud of every single one of them.
Celine will be staying in Australia, and after she travels and spends some well-deserved relaxing time, she will look for a job!
Smilla will be travelling around Australia before she returns to Switzerland!
Marina will be joining another previous graduating student, jump in a camper and go to Perth, Adelaide and many more amazing cities Australia has to offer! Marina has made so many amazing memories and friends that she will remember forever!
Niklas has been such an amazing guy to have around on campus! He has such a positive energy bubble around and isn’t afraid to get out of his comfort zone! From his amazing dance moves at our Halloween party to working incredibly hard in his Cambridge class! Niklas has made many friends at Lexis and has travelled and explored lots of Australian cities already! He will stay in Australia to experience the ‘Aussie’ summer before returning to Switzerland.
Nanako is not only an amazing student but such an amazing person to be around! She teaches Japanese and has a certificate to teach Yoga, which she will continue to do while she stays in Brisbane. She has learnt so much in the 13 weeks she has been at Lexis Brisbane and has made friends from all around the world.
Tony – Our Lexis Brisbane Star Director! Tony started with us only 5 weeks ago and has made such an impact at our campus. You would normally see him around campus with his camera snapping photos of his friends or the lovely nature we have discovered. Tony is staying in Brisbane on a working holiday visa, hoping to find a job in the film industry. Tony will be making a movie about his time in Australia, which we cannot wait to watch! Wishing you all the best, and don’t forget about us when you’re famous.
Maelis studied at Lexis Brisbane for just four weeks, but during this time, she made many friends while exploring the east coast of Australia and significantly improved her English skills!
We wish everyone one of our departing students the best of luck! We will miss you here at Lexis Brisbane and hope you had the best time learning, exploring and meeting new people from around the world!
