The hugely popular Victoria Quay Night Market returns this Summer with a distinct Carnivale theme!
On WEDNESDAY NIGHTS, this fun and festive event will feature an array of hawker-style stalls alongside B Shed offering traditional specialties from Brazil, Venezuela, Salvador, Peru, Colombia, Mexico, such as arepas, cachapas, pupusas and empanadas.
You can also enjoy popular favourites like paella, nachos, and burritos. From Cajun, South American and Louisiana soul food, to Mexican, Spanish and exciting fusion cuisines – there’ll be something for everyone.
For those with a sweet tooth, enjoy a La Paleta ice treat, alfajores (shortbread with indulgent dulce de leche) or a sugared churro (Spanish doughnut) dipped in delicious chocolate sauce!
Adding to the atmosphere is a great selection of entertainment, including dancers, musicians and fire dancers. Come with your friends and family and kick back and soak up the ambience, or stroll the waterfront and take in Fremantle’s impressive sunsets.
Victoria Quay Carnivale Night Market is easy to access by ferry, bus and train, on foot or cycle. Free parking will also be available in Carpark 42 adjacent to E Shed – enter from Cliff Street.
The Carnivale will run from 12 NOVEMBER to 17 DECEMBER, with a short break for Christmas and New Year, returning 7 JANUARY until 11 FEBRUARY 2015
