Monica studied thai massage in Thailand

In August last year we interviewed the delightful and caring happy student Monica about her time here in Byron Bay.  Have a look at the blog here!

We have caught up with her again to ask ‘Where are you now?’  This is what told us:

Where are you now?

I’m in Brazil, to be more specific, in my hometown Garopaba.

How long did you study at Lexis?

I spent 3 months studying at Lexis.

When did you leave, and where did you go?

I left Lexis in August of 2019 and after that I went to Thailand where I did a Thai massage course.

What was a highlight of studying at Lexis English?

The people there, teachers, students, everyone was absolutely lovely and kind.

Slacklining isn’t as easy as it looks…

Tell us about what life’s like now:

I’m living with my parents and working as a Thai massage therapist. Because of the pandemic life is calm and I can’t travel, but I’m using this time to develop new skills! I’ve learnt how to do Macrame and I’m trying to learn Slackline!  And I’m also planning my next trip!
