Today we are thrilled to welcome our 5 new General English students from the German, French and Italian parts of Switzerland and Chile. Additionally, we opened a new Cambridge Advanced Preparation (CAE) class and Cambridge First Preparation (FCE) class and had 8 new Cambridge students start today.
Introducing our new General English students Vera, Hippolyte, Sophie, Nicola and Amapola.
Vera joins us from the German part of Switzerland. Vera is taking a gap year before deciding what to study. Her gap year will consist of studying Spanish in Costa Rica and English in Australia. Vera is interested in art, surfing, yoga and food, hence her decision to study in Byron Bay.
Hippolyte joins us from the French part of Switzerland. Hippolyte wants to learn English for travel and to improve his employment prospects with international companies. Hippolyte is completing our English and Surfing program which involves part-time General English with surfing lessons. He is living in Australia for 6-months and will then decide what to do next.
Sophie also joins us from the French part of Switzerland. Sophie is also completing our English and Surfing program. Sophie is very happy to have escaped the Swiss winter and to be in warm weather by the sea. She wants to improve her English so that she can have meaningful conversations with people from around the world.
Nicola joins us from the Italian part of Switzerland. Nicola wants to improve his English for travel and to help with his research on cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology. A lot of the latest cryptocurrency and blockchain news is published and broadcast in English. Nicola doesn’t like big cities and enjoys the daytime over the night, so he chose Lexis Byron Bay for his English studies.
Amapola joins us from Chile. Amapola chose Australia because of its beauty, weather and its reputation for having kind people. On her return to Chile, Amapola plans to study law and through practising law hopes to bring about positive change for her country and its less fortunate people.
We will introduce our new Cambridge students later but for now here is a picture of our excited new Cambridge starters.
