Yesterday Kathleen took her Upper Intermediate class to the Byron Bay Farmers Market.
The market is held every Thursday morning on Butler Street Reserve between 7am and 11am. It’s a wonderful place to buy local produce, listen to live music and soak up the atmosphere. Kathleen’s class were given tasks to practise this weeks grammar (ability) and vocabulary (phrasal verbs) while at the markets. Then on their return they worked in pairs to make stories using as many phrasal verbs as they could.
