Relaxing Yoga
To celebrate the International day of Yoga on June 21st, this Monday our students could relax at a yoga class, held by one of our teachers Elizabeth.
The International Day of Yoga on June 21 which aims to raise international awareness of the many benefits, next to physical strength it cultivates the ways of maintaining a balanced attitude in everyday life which can help reduce stress.
But yoga is more than a physical activity. In the words of one of its most famous practitioners, the late B. K. S. Iyengar, “Yoga cultivates the ways of maintaining a balanced attitude in day-to-day life and endows skill in the performance of one’s actions”.
Our students enjoyed the relaxing afternoon activity and a few of them will continue practicing it.
