Maria is from Barcelona, Spain. In Barcelona, Maria worked as a receptionist and studied Marketing online. She is in Australia to improve her English. She needs to improve her English to complete her Marketing degree. She also chose to learn English in Australia because she has a friend living here.
Hamilton joins us from Brazil. He is motivated to become fluent in English as it will improve his career prospects. Hamilton is an active person, he trains Jiu Jitsu, goes to the gym and runs.
Ainhoa and her sister travelled from Spain together to both join us. Ainhoa is driven to improve her English for personal and professional reasons. Knowing fluent English will help her when travelling and in her career. She chose Australia and specially Byron Bay because she loves the sea, sun and diving.
Ariadna is Ainhoa’s older sister. Ariadna enjoys scuba diving, mountain bike riding and spending time with family and friends. She is passionate about marine life and studied this subject last year. She believes it is imperative to improve her English for work and general life. Her goal is to become fluent.
Adria also joins us from Barcelona. Adria has a Marketing degree and needs a high-level of English for this profession. He is also a new Programming student and requires proficient English for this work as well. He chose to study in Byron Bay because of the surf and the laidback lifestyle.
Mathilde has travelled to us from Belgium. She is very close with her family. Mathilde enjoys music, dancing, health and wellness. She is excited to speak English confidently and knowing English is important for her ideal career.
Chinatsu joins us from Japan. Chinatsu loves to surf hence her excellent decision to join us in Byron Bay. Chinatsu is looking forward to settling into Byron, studying English, finding a part-time job and surfing in her spare time.
Kiyomi also joins us from Japan. Kiyomi decided to come to Australia after hearing from friends about the amazing lifestyle and study and work opportunities in Australia. She is excited to study English, work hard and then travel around Australia.
Ramona is from the German part of Switzerland. She loves to spend time in nature and depending on the weather can be found snowboarding or hiking. Ramona wants to learn English for travel and for her career.
Katja is also from Switzerland. She is a passionate baker and likes to bake food for family and friends. She also practises gymnastics and performs at gymnastics festivals. She has dreamed of visiting Australia. She is excited to study in Byron Bay and to go surfing. Her goal at Lexis is to improve her English speaking and understanding.
Tomoka joins us from Japan. She studied English at high school and university in Japan. She has friends in Australia and would like to meet up them. She chose Australia because she loves the sea and camping.
