Today we are thrilled to welcome 4 new students from Switzerland and Japan!
Lorena joins us from the German part of Switzerland. Lorena is happy to have escaped the Swiss winter for the Australian summer. Lorena is having a gap year before studying and hopes to improve her English at Lexis for travelling and her future studies. After completing her course at Lexis, Lorena will spend one month travelling around the east coast of Australia.
Julia also joins us from the German part of Switzerland. Julia works in childcare and plans to study teaching. She is studying English at Lexis to compliment her teaching studies and improve her future job prospects. She would also consider working and living abroad in a native English-speaking country.
Miku joins us from Japan. Miku wants to improve her English so that she can live and work abroad. She also loves watching English-language dramas, like Stranger Things on Netflix, so improving her English will improve her viewing experience. If she falls in love with Australia, then she will apply for a working holiday visa.
Rin also joins us from Japan. Rin loves Yoga and works in an organic supermarket in Japan so she thought Byron Bay would be a perfect fit. In her fourth year of university, Rin would like to study in Denmark and for this she needs a good-level of English. Furthermore, she is passionate about protecting the environment and tackling global social issues, so English is a must.
