Today we are thrilled to welcome new students from the French and German parts of Switzerland, France and Spain.
Laura joins us from the French part of Switzerland. Laura is inspired to learn English because of her love of travel. At Lexis, she would like to reach fluency and be able to communicate with her new friends from around the world in English. After her studies, Laura will travel to Bali or Japan.
Naomi also joins us from the French part of Switzerland. Naomi needs to improve her English for work but is also driven to improve for travel. She is excited to be in Australia and looks forward to making new friends.
Jonas joins us from the German part of Switzerland. Jonas is happy to have escaped the Swiss winter for the Australian summer. At Lexis, he would like to improve his English in all areas and make new friends.
Laurie joins us from France. Laurie plans to study and work in Byron Bay before meeting up with her cousin who is living in Canberra. Laurie is motivated to learn English so that she can better communicate with her English-speaking extended family who live in Hawaii. While in Byron, Laurie will take surf lessons and surf in her free time.
Janire joins us from Spain. Janire lived a busy life in Spain and recently decided to take a well-deserved break to travel and study English in Australia. She has spent the last two months travelling Indonesia and will now spend 8-months in Australia. Her goal is to pass the Cambridge Advanced exam and to be comfortable writing academic papers.
