We are thrilled to welcome 10 new General English students from Japan, Switzerland and Italy. Plus 12 wonderful new Cambridge Advanced (CAE) and Cambridge First (FCE) students from Switzerland, Spain, Japan and Korea!
Hikari joins us from Japan. Hikari has been wanting to come to Australia for years. She had plans to come 3-years ago but couldn’t because of the pandemic. She is appreciating the slow life in Byron Bay, the nature and kind people. She is determined to learn English and will never give up!
Narumi also joins us from Japan. Narumi is a yoga teacher and is at home in Byron Bay. She wants to learn English so that she can train and teach yoga in English. She is amazed by the beauty of Byron and has been exploring the beaches and nature on foot.
Sakiho also joins us from Japan. Sakiho wants to work in Australia but needs to improve her English first. So, she is going to be a dedicated student and study hard. She is also excited to try surfing, do yoga, hug a koala and have BBQs with her new friends.
Nova also joins us from Japan. Nova has always longed to live in Australia because of the beautiful nature and its reputation for nature conservation. She hopes to make lots of new friends at school and improve her English with them.
Flavia joins us from the German part of Switzerland. Flavia is completing our English and Surfing course which involves part-time English and surf lessons 4-days per week! She chose Byron Bay so that she could learn English and learn to surf concurrently.
Michelle also joins us from the German part of Switzerland. Michelle has already passed the Cambridge Advanced exam and is now preparing for the proficiency exam. She is looking forward to meeting people from all over the world.
Raphael also joins us from the German part of Switzerland. Raphael would like to get better at talking and having normal conversations as well as refresh his grammar. He plans to coordinate big trips with fellow students to see national parks, waterfalls and the beaches surrounding Byron.
Fiona joins us from the French part of Switzerland. Fiona would like to improve her English grammar, vocabulary and speaking so she can talk about everything with everybody. After graduation she plans to travel Australia but is finding it hard deciding between all the great places to visit.
Clea also joins us from the French part of Switzerland. Clea wants to improve her speaking and get better with her grammar while at Lexis. She is also interested in trying surfing and spending lots of time at the beach.
Marika joins us from Italy. Marika has travelled but has never been so far from home. She is passionate about language learning and studied English, Spanish and German in high school. She is excited to visit waterfalls, national parks and beaches and hopes to spot kangaroos and koalas.
