This week we welcome two new students to Lexis Byron Bay; Netta from Israel and Stephane from Spain.
Netta has already been in Australia for one year on a Working Holiday Visa and now lives out at Ocean Shores. She speaks English very well but says that she still feels uncomfortable conversing in English, wants to be completely fluent and also wants to be able to read English books with ease. Netta is a practitioner in Chinese Medicine and had a clinic in Israel. She will join our Advanced class.
Stephane has been studying English in Melbourne but started to move North after COVID hit. He has already lived in Byron for a few months and has a job in the Rails in the kitchen. He knows most of our Spanish students already and shares a house with ex-student, Jaume. Stephane enjoys cooking and also being outside, running and reading. He’s looking forward to improving his English further and will join our Intermediate class.
