Byron Bay – New Starters – 22 March 2021

Today, we welcome two new students: Keiko from Japan and Nico from Chile.

Keiko actually studied at Lexis way back in 2015 and has been living in Byron Bay for the past four and a half years. She is now in a position to apply for a graduate visa but needs to gain a 6 in IELTS in order to apply so she has come back to Lexis Byron Bay so we can help her achieve this goal.

She also works as a chef at Top shop and she says that it’s a great place to work as all the staff are friendly and nice.

Nico has also been in Australia for quite some time. He arrived in Perth is 2018 and has done farm work in Margaret River and regional work in the desert near Alice Springs in order to gain his second year working holiday visa. He also spent some time in Sydney and has worked in a range of industries including hospitality and cleaning. He has recently finished studying Environmental Management and Sustainability and, now, has decided to devote a bit of time to his English as he said that he still finds fluency difficult and worries about the mistakes that he makes.

We are very happy to welcome both students to Lexis Byron Bay and look forward to getting to know you better.
