Today we welcome two new students to Lexis Byron Bay.
Juan Pablo is from Chile and has come to Australia with his wife and his dog. His wife is studying Construction in Brisbane and Juan Pablo was living there before moving to Byron. He decided to study in Byron because he thought he would improve faster away from the temptation to speak Spanish all the time.
He enjoys all kinds of sports, such as surfing skating and biking.
Franco has already been in Australia for over a year and, before that, he travelled extensively around Latin countries. He has an Italian passport and was originally here on a working holiday visa. He has worked in a number of different locations doing a range of jobs with his girlfriend. Now that their WHVs are finished, they decided that Franco should take the opportunity to improve his English, so he will be studying at Lexis for a year on a student visa.
Both Franco and Juan Pablo are really friendly and excellent speakers. They both are less confident with their written English though and, for this reason, will start in our Pre-Intermediate class.
