Today, we welcome three new students at Lexis in Byron Bay! Takahiro, Sojeong and Andrea!
Sojeong (Sunny)
This is Sojeong’s first time in Australia. She came here because she likes the weather and there aren’t many Korean students. She graduated as a Mechanical Engineer and needs English to be able to achieve her goal of working for an airline. She is currently Pre-Intermediate level and wants to improve her speaking most of all. She likes to go hiking in one of the many national parks in Australia.
Takahiro:
Takahiro is thrilled to be in Australia and excited about surfing here. He even brought his own surfboard! In Japan, he is a test driver for Honda but said it’s not as exciting as it sounds. He wants to learn English to make it easier to travel and surf in different countries and also because it will help him get a better job. He says speaking is the most difficult skill. He has joined Elementary.
Andrea:
Andrea is from France and learned surfing from his dad. He is busy studying hard to be a Space Engineer. For this he will need both English and Russian. He is very excited about being in Byron Bay and can’t wait for some good waves! He has joined the Intermediate class.
