Today the sun came out after a big weekend of Bluesfest fun – to welcome our three lovely new students!
Silvia is from Spain and has come here to radically change her life! She has worked as an accountant for her family, as well as studied English in Canada. She is sporty and has interests in a lot of local activites, including already taking up surfing. The lifestyle of Byron suits her and she will be studying General English for 12 weeks and then CAE for 12 weeks.
Sayaka is here from Japan on a working holiday visa and hopes to find work in Byron during her enrolment at Lexis English Byron Bay. She enjoys nature and reading and yoga, all of which are popular past times in Byron. Sayaka is also participating in our homestay program and is already feeling at home with her lovely host family.
Bruna is from beautiful Sardinia, Italy. She has worked in fashion and wanted to improve her English to further her career opportunities. The reason she chose to study at Lexis Byron over anywhere else is of course because of our warm weather that reminds her of home. Bruna is here for only a short time on a tourist visa but already plans to return!
