This week we sadly say goodbye to two superstar students; Elena from Russia and Luli from Argentina.
Elena has been with us at Lexis Byron Bay since January and has completed 24 weeks of General English and IELTS Preparation classes. Although she sometimes struggles with grammar, Elena has become a very confident and skills communicator and we’ve really enjoyed hearing all about her life and work. Elena actually works online with a Russian company so, while most of us are sleeping, she is hard at work. And then she still got up and managed to stay extremely motivated in class every day, which was very impressive. She will take a much-needed break now before joining the Lexis Training Diploma in Project Management in August. She is already so organised that I’m sure she’ll smash it!
Luli also first started at Lexis Byron Bay in January and has studied with us for 16 weeks in total. She is a brilliant speaker and, as we also discovered, has an amazing memory for vocabulary. She also enjoys laughing a lot, which we all enjoyed in class. Luli will stay in Byron Bay and may return to Lexis in the future in order to prepare for her IELTS exam.
We’re really going to miss both students in the class and wish them all the very best.
