Today Maria Elena popped in from a busy day at work in the industrial estate, to collect her graduating certificate. She was with us for 12 weeks and participated in FCE preparation with Kathleen and Adrienne, and Advanced with Josie and Elizabeth. Elena was a lovely and lively addition to the class. Even though she hadn’t studied English formally for a long time, she picked up the new concepts very quickly. Everyone really enjoyed talking to her and hearing about her fascinating life experiences. She will be missed! But go down to Masa Byron cafe and you’ll see her making coffee 😀
