Byron Bay – Graduation – 1 April 2021

Today we say goodbye to three students who will definitely be missed: Jesica, JC and M.

Unfortunately, Jesica hasn’t been able to come to school for her last week as she is self-isolating due to possible COVID exposure. However, her teachers describe her as an excellent student, who asked really good grammar questions and is also adept at explaining grammar points to her classmates. Every time I saw Jesica, she was smiling and happy so I’m sure her classmates will miss her next week.

Graduation 1 April Scaled

JC (pictured) has been studying here at Lexis Byron Bay for 12 weeks and will go on to study for a further 12 weeks in Perth in May. His English has improved significantly in his time here and his teachers have really enjoyed his input in the classroom. He also often pops into the office for a chat so we’ve got to know him quite well in such a small space of time. He now plans to meet up with some friends in Sydney before heading to the West Coast.

M didn’t want to have his photo taken but has also been with us for 12 weeks. What we’ll miss most about M is his very wry sense of humour. He has been an excellent student and maintained a strong attendance throughout. M works in IT and is hoping to stay in Australia so perhaps we’ll catch up with him at the Beachy at some point.
