At our recent film club students viewed the Australian film, The Rabbit Proof Fence, and examined the Xavier Rudd song, Let Me Be.
The movie and song both address feeling free, trapped and chased in life.
Students discussed the question, “What would you do if government officials came and took your children or siblings away” to practice the use of infinite and past simple verbs.
They also selected and discussed lines from Xavier Rudd’s song, Let Me Be, that made them think of The Rabbit Proof Fence.
Watching films in English both with and without subtitles is a great way to take your English to the next level.
