Time flies and Elena is leaving us already!
Elena has graduated with Grade A in Upper Intermediate English.
She has been with us for three weeks and has made many quick friends during her enrolment.
Elena is one of our best students, she has great natural conversational skills and has made progress in these weeks that she can be proud of.
First on the agenda after gradutating is this weekend’s annual Bluesfest in Byron Bay. She intends to volunteer at the festival in exchange for passes to see great local and national artists.
Elena is then planning to travel back to Sydney to visit her friends made at Lexis Sydney in Manly. She likes the beach lifestyle which is what drew her to Byron after her first Lexis campus.
Elena is hoping to drive back up the coast and explore the small Australian beach towns along the way, but intends to stay near the water and moving towards the warm of the North coast.
Elena has a lot of great perspectives on why young people(herself included) chose to travel abroad and find so much in common with the casual and approachable ‘aussie life’.
She is already intending to return to Australia next year, and is interested in studying environment and or/biology at University here.
The small town and quiet life of Byron is what Elena was looking for, so she is happy to have chosen Lexis Byron and will be enjoying her time in the area with the great friends she has made here.
Coming from the mountain regions of Switzerland, she said the magic of being near the ocean never gets old and she will take advantage off that access while she can.
We wish Elena safe and happy travels and hope she will come back and visit us in Byron soon.
