There was a great turn out of students to make and enjoy chocolate fondue on Friday.
We split into small teams to prepare each component: the white chocolate fondue, dark chocolate fondue, strawberries, banana and cake.
Our fondue was made by mixing Aussie chocolate with hot cream and Baileys Irish Cream. Some also enjoyed a shot of Baileys while preparing the fondues.
It was a beautiful day so we dined outside. The white chocolate fondue with cake was the agreed favourite combination but everything was enjoyed and finished off.
Our very generous Swiss student Elena brought some delicious chocolates from home to share which included Lindt, Toblerone and Ovomaltine. According to our Swiss students, there is a taste difference between Swiss chocolates sold in Switzerland and those sold in Australia!
