This Tuesday, our students had the chance to experience going Op Shopping!
An Op Shop is a charity shop or second-hand shop in which people can drop their clothes and other items they don’t want anymore. It is an excellent way to find some vintage and unique items!
At Lexis Byron we are lucky enough to have 4 Op Shops within walking distance from our campus!
We strolled through town in the sunshine browsing the Op Shops.
Some students had their arms full of items! Others bought books, and mugs.
To finish we went into a quirky vintage store that had some amazing items.
Op shopping is not only a fun activity, but also great for the environment. Recycling, and reusing clothes and items prevent them from going to landfill and, another benefit, all the money goes to charity.
Almost every student went home with an amazing find in their bags. We can’t wait to go Op Shopping again!
