Lexis English Brisbane Hits the Town
Breaking the Ice with a Bang
On the vibrant evening of 13 March, our Lexis English Brisbane students gathered for one of the most anticipated social events of the month—Pub Night! We kicked off the evening right at home, in our cozy student lounge, where students from all around the world came together to relax, chat, and break the ice. The atmosphere was buzzing with energy and laughter as our students shared stories, practiced their English, and made new friends from different cultures.
This warm-up session was more than just small talk—it was the spark that lit up the rest of the evening. With upbeat music, light snacks, and plenty of smiles, the student lounge turned into a hub of connection and camaraderie, setting the perfect tone for the night ahead.
Cheers to New Friends and Good Times
Once the laughter had filled every corner of the lounge, it was time to take the fun out into the Brisbane nightlife. Our students headed over to a local pub where the good vibes continued. The clinking of glasses, casual chatter, and a little dancing created a relaxed yet exciting atmosphere. Some students tried local Australian drinks for the first time, while others shared fun facts about their home countries.
The magic of the evening was in the spontaneous moments—the joy of learning each other’s names, the inside jokes that formed instantly, and the shared feeling that this was a night to remember. Pub Night isn’t just about drinks—it’s about bonding beyond the classroom and bringing our international family closer together.
The Ultimate Showdown at Roamer
But the night didn’t end there—Roamer was calling our name! And what a destination it was. Upon arriving, we were warmly welcomed by our energetic hosts, who had a whole lineup of fun games and challenges prepared. From trivia to mini competitions, the friendly rivalry kicked in quickly—especially when we found out another school was also there, competing for the same prizes!
This brought out the best of our students’ competitive spirits. The games were full of laughter, clever comebacks, and playful banter. Everyone gave their all, whether it was in a round of Pictionary, a dance-off, or a quirky team-building task. Cheers erupted every time a prize was handed out, and even those who didn’t win left with unforgettable memories and new friends by their side.
It wasn’t just about winning; it was about sharing the moment, enjoying the process, and celebrating what makes Lexis English so unique—our international community of learners who know how to have fun while learning.
