Spooky Scary Skeletons at Lexis Brisbane – Transforming our campus to show our Halloween spirit, watching a scary movie with popcorn and partying the night away with friends at our Halloween Party!

At Lexis, we believe that stepping out of your comfort zone is where the real magic happens — and what better time to do it than at our Halloweek! Students swapped textbooks for costumes and hit the dance floor, showing off their spooky moves and fearless energy. It was a week where students were out of their comfort zone and focused on building confidence, connections, and celebrating the spirit of Lexis in true Halloween style!
This week at Lexis Brisbane, our students got into the Halloween spirit with a week full of fun and fright! The school was transformed into a haunted haven as students teamed up to decorate classrooms and hallways with spooky creations. The celebrations continued with a Halloween party, featuring costumes, games, and an abundance of treats. To top it all off, everyone gathered for a scary movie afternoon —popcorn in hand, of course! It was a week of laughter, creativity, and a few playful scares, bringing our Lexis family even closer together.

Halloween Decorating:
Our students truly took charge of decorating the school for Halloween this year, and their creativity blew us away! We left the planning in their hands, and they transformed the space into a spooky, festive masterpiece. Using printouts we provided, they worked together as a team—cutting, colouring, and carefully placing their artwork all around the school. The school came alive with bats, pumpkins, and ghosts! Some students even made Halloween-themed bracelets to add a personal touch, while others dove into the costume box to try on some fun outfits. The next day, when students and staff arrived at school, the excitement was contagious—everyone was full of enthusiasm for Halloween and couldn’t wait for the party to begin!

Scary movie & popcorn:
As part of our Halloween celebration, the students gathered to watch a scary movie — one they had never seen before — complete with popcorn and friends. The room was filled with both laughter and nervous squeals as the suspense built on screen. Some students jumped at the scariest parts, while others clung to their friends for comfort, their eyes wide but their smiles still intact. Between the screams and the giggles, everyone enjoyed munching on popcorn and sharing the thrill of the movie. It was the perfect mix of fright and fun, and the students loved every spooky moment!
