Barista Cafe Training Program: Learn Café Skills, Make Great Coffee, and Get Job-Ready in Australia
Our Barista Café Training Program teaches you how to work confidently in an Australian café, build strong coffee-making skills, and prepare for real job opportunities across the hospitality industry. The two-week Lexis Barista Course begins with classroom training in customer service skills, followed by hands-on barista practice. Students then put their learning into action by running Lexis’ in-house café — serving coffee, interacting with customers, and gaining real experience in the day-to-day operations of a small hospitality business.
At Lexis Brisbane, students have the chance to develop real café skills and hands-on work experience in our on-campus training café. They can exchange two weeks of their General English course to enrol in our Barista Program. Over the past week, our café has been busier than usual, and our barista students are doing a fantastic job! Not only are they getting support from teachers, friends, and classmates, but they’re also building confidence by serving the whole campus — taking orders, steaming milk, pouring coffee, and managing the café just like in a real hospitality workplace.
